Il filamento Ultrafuse PA è il risultato del lavoro di BASF per integrare Ultramid® nel mondo della stampa 3D. Si tratta di una lega di PA6 e PA66 a viscosità intermedia che offre proprietà meccaniche e termiche molto interessanti.
Il filamento Ultrafuse PA offre una maggiore resistenza agli urti e all'usura rispetto a un PA6 o PA66 standard. È ideale per la produzione di parti industriali nei settori dell'ingegneria, dell'automobilismo o dell'aerospaziale, tra gli altri.
Resistenza meccanica: L'Ultrafuse PA presenta una elevata resistenza meccanica e una grande resistenza agli urti, all'usura e alla deformazione.
Materiale ad alta rigidità: È possibile stampare parti e modelli 3D semiflessibili o molto rigidi a seconda dello spessore del pezzo stampato.
Bassa temperatura di fusione: La temperatura di fusione di questo filamento Ultrafuse PA è relativamente bassa, il che lo rende stampabile su molte stampanti 3D professionali.
Il filamento Ultrafuse PA è un Nylon PA6/66 relativamente facile da stampare. È necessario disporre di una stampante in grado di estrudere a una temperatura di 220-250°C e di un piatto riscaldato che raggiunga i 120°C. Consigliamo l'uso di una colla per migliorare l'adesione del filamento Ultrafuse PA al piatto di stampa.
Il filamento Ultrafuse PA è molto sensibile all'umidità e consigliamo di conservarlo in un essiccatore come una Polybox e di effettuare un'accurata asciugatura se necessario.
